Tanáhá means bison in the Arikara Language.
We are a herd like Tanáhá, and just like Tanáha we must each find our own path. We come and go in each other lives but we are never forgotten by our herd. This collection seeks to reclaim my father's Arikara name, as I find meaning in what it looks like to have kinship in both the workshop and the world.

Materials: Mahogany Bison, Teal leather vamp, brass spots, Glass seed beads Peyote stitch, cowhide insole, & Rubber sole.

Measurements: 10.75”-11” X 4.25”-4.5”
Materials: Peanut Bison, trade cloth wool cuff, lined w/army wool blanket, Genuine Elkteeth, 192 brass spots/ 4 cones, & cowhide insole
The Tipi design was based off of past Moccasin maker Summer. A design inspired by Crow Fair aka Tipi Capital of the world.

D. “DragonFly Mountains” Yellowstone Boot Moccasins: Ladies 8-8.5
Measurements: Length 9 1/2-9 3/4” Width 3 1/2-4”)
Materials: Mocha Bison, Teal bison, pigskin, Lined w/Bison hair, Bead inlay Dragonflies, plaid cotton fabric binding, brass spots, seed beads, Spenco insole, & raptor sole

Inspired by Montana’s Gallatin Mountains and the dragonflies at nearby ponds. The small purple flower symbolizes the tough blooms that survive drought and high elevations.

For the most accurate way of measuring your foot, stand barefoot on a piece of paper and have someone trace them for you. From there, measure from the longest toe to the heel and the widest part of the foot. PLEASE REACH OUT IF YOU HAVE A WIDER FOOT, HIGH ARCH, OR HIGH VOLUME FOOT COMPARED TO OUR MEASUREMENTS FOR YOUR FOOT SIZE. We can stretch in house. Our base patterns are not meant for Extra Wide feet such as EEE. That would have to be a custom order!!
